26th Amendment

The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

It says that when you are 18 you are able to vote

It was a documentary at the certification ceremony of the 26 amendment. That allowed 11 million new voters to vote when it became a part of the constitution.

They were showing that 18 to 21 year olds make up a big part of any election. And then they asked them how do they feel about it and they asked people the importance of this amendment to them.
