16th Amendment

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration..

This Amendment allows the Congress to levy an income tax without regard to the States or the Census.



Shows how you have to pay taxes and the money is spent however they want it to be.



It talks about how the IRS makes people pay their taxes and it gave history on why they did this.
